About the Program
Go Solar, a program of the Clean Air Foundation, is a market transformation campaign that provides Ontario residents with the information and links they need to install solar energy systems to heat water or generate electricity.

New programs announced in 2007 by the Ontario and Canadian governments provide over $1,300 in incentives on a new solar water heater, making this the time to invest in solar. Ontario incentives for generating PV (photovoltaic) electricity are the best in Canada.

By adopting PV and solar water heating technology, homeowners now have the opportunity to generate a portion of their home’s energy use. Solar energy systems are also a key part of the conservation ethic because they make homeowners more aware of where their energy is coming from and how it is used.
