Purchase Options: Manufacturers and Installers
When purchasing solar energy systems, you have a choice: you can contact installation companies in your area directly, or you can purchase through a retailer. Both provide on-site consultations prior to providing a price quote.

Go Solar does not evaluate or endorse any one system or installer. Technical specifications and performance, installation, and total costs will vary depending on your specific circumstances.  Homeowners are encouraged to get several quotes when retaining the services of solar installers.

Installers
To find installers of PV systems and solar water heaters in your area, it is recommended that you visit the Canadian Solar Industries Association and conduct an "advanced search" located near the bottom of the page.

Home Builders and Residential Developments
More architects, custom builders and residential developers are becoming aware of – and incorporating into the structure of their buildings – integrated solar energy systems or 'solar ready' design. Examples of installations in new home construction (and how it is catching on) can be found below:
