About Solar | Siting & Location | Municipal Permits | Solar Pool Heating | Solar Air Heating

Similar to solar water heating, solar air collectors heat air blown through them. Depending on design and complexity, solar air heating systems can heat one room or whole buildings. If a building has a forced air heating system already installed, a solar air heater can be added to preheat the air before it reaches the furnace. Solar air heaters have been designed for both small-scale residential and large-scale commercial applications.
